Annual Diagnosticians’ Workshop 2016 and associated workshops

The Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, Plant Health Australia and CSIRO invite you to attend the Annual Diagnosticians’ Workshop 2016 (ADW) and associated workshops from 15 to 18 February 2016 in Canberra.

Two workshops either side of the ADW have been planned. The Basic and Practical Aspects of Specimen Curation precedes the ADW and New Developments and Advanced Techniques in Collection Management follows the ADW. When registering for the ADW, you may also register for one or both of the associated workshops.

Expressions of interest close at 5:00pm AEDT on 4 December 2015. Should more applications be received than spaces available, consideration will be given to ensuring all jurisdictions have the ability to participate.

The outcome of the EOI process will be emailed to all applicants in the week commencing 7 December 2015. For successful applicants this will include instructions on how to have flights and accommodation booked as well as further information about the workshops.

For successful applicants Plant Health Australia will fund flights and accommodation for the evening of 16 February only (between the two half days of the Annual Diagnosticians’ Workshop 2016).  You will need to fund accommodation if attending the associated workshops.

The registration link and further information is available here, to see the registration link you will need to be signed in. If you’re not a member you can register here. If you have any questions you can contact us.
