Diagnostic Residentials 2017

The Subcommittee on Plant Health Diagnostics (SPHD) is pleased to announce applications for the new round of the Diagnostic Residential program are now open. All NPBDN members are invited to submit an application to undertake a Diagnostic Residential, which involves spending time in another laboratory, workplace, or participating in relevant activities to improve your diagnostic capability. For more information on the Diagnostic Residentials, refer to the guidelines here. This round is an open call, with no specific theme identified, with applications assessed on potential improvements in diagnostic capability.

While not a requirement, there is some additional funding available for Diagnostic Residentials that address identified gaps in National Diagnostic Protocols (information about this can be found here).

Applications opened on the 8th of May 2017 and close at 5 pm on the 9th of June. The application form is available here, and once completed can be submitted to the NPBDN Executive Officer at SPHD@agriculture.gov.au.
