The CSIRO Ecosystem Sciences, Black Mountain Laboratories hosted the fifth Annual Diagnosticians’ Workshop. The theme for this years’ workshop was ‘Reference Collections’ and talks and tours presented across the two days augmented the importance of reference collections for biosecurity. The workshop brought together plant diagnosticians from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Solomon Islands for two days to share ideas and knowledge. The Subcommittee on Plant Health Diagnostics (SPHD), CSIRO and Plant Health Australia coordinated the workshop and funding was provided by the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.
